Steel Structure Design

A well-designed steel structure is safe, economical and quick to erect. We develop the complete structural design for each application, sizing every element for the actual loads in use.

What we design

Custom steel structures for your operation

Every structure is calculated for the real loads of use, with the steel it needs and nothing more.

Warehouses

Industrial, commercial and agricultural, with portal frames and roofing.

Mezzanines

More usable area by taking advantage of the existing ceiling height.

Platforms

For access, operation and equipment maintenance.

Walkways and stairs

Safe access between levels and equipment, with guardrails.

Roof structures

Roof framing and metal roofs.

Other structures

Supports, equipment bases and other special structures.

How the project works

  1. 1

    Survey

We understand the need, dimensions, service loads and site conditions.

  2. 2

    Concept

We define the most suitable and economical structural system and layout.

  3. 3

    Sizing

We calculate members, connections and base plates for the expected loads.

  4. 4

    Report and ART

We deliver the design, the calculation report and the ART.

01What you receive

  • Structural design
  • Calculation report with members, connections and bases
  • ART registered with CREA

Why a structural design

The structural design determines the safety and cost of the work. Correct sizing avoids both excess steel, which makes the structure needlessly expensive, and undersized structures, which put people and equipment at risk.

With the calculation report and the ART, your company has technical proof that the structure meets the expected loads.

Standards applied: ABNT NBR 8800 (steel and composite structures), NBR 14762 (cold-formed steel members), NBR 14323 (structures in fire conditions), NBR 6123 (wind loads), NBR 8681 (actions and safety of structures) and NBR 6120 (loads for structural design).
