01Overview

What it is for

The ACORP monopod creates an anchorage point where there is no fixed structure for it. It is designed for challenging work environments in industry and construction, such as confined space entry, rope access, personnel lifting and rescue.

How it works

The mast fits into a base, and the arm rotates 360° around it. The arm is articulated, with 3 tilt positions and 3 extensions locked with safety pins. Diverter pulleys and anchor eyes are at the ends of the arm, and the mast has a winch bracket.

Bases

The monopod can be installed on three types of base, sold separately:

  • Floor base, fixed with anchor bolts, with a floor counterplate or embedded plate.
  • Wall base, fixed with anchor bolts or with a wall counterplate.
  • H-model base, mobile and transportable, for temporary applications.

Fixing kits, winch bracket, winches and self-retracting lifeline are also sold separately.

Where it applies

  • Access to confined spaces

  • Rope access and work positioning
  • Fall arrest and travel restraint
