01Overview
What it is for
The fixed monopod creates a permanent anchorage point where access always happens at the same place, such as a confined space entry, a well or a manhole. It covers access, personnel lifting and rescue.
What it is like
The structure is fully welded and has no adjustments: the arm, tilt and height are fixed. Diverter pulleys are at both ends of the arm, anchor eyes are under the arm, and the mast has a winch bracket.
Fixed or adjustable?
The fixed monopod suits work points that do not change, with no assembly before each use. When the equipment has to be taken to other places, or the reach and height need adjusting, the right choice is the Adjustable Davit Monopod for Access and Rescue, with an articulated arm and interchangeable bases.
